Meet Mr. Buseman!
I was born and raised in Belmond, IA, where I graduated from the Belmond Community School District. After graduating from high school, I attended Central College (Go Dutch!) in Pella, IA, and received a B.A. in Elementary Education. My first teaching job was in the Hampton-Dumont School District where I taught third grade for 12 years. During my teaching career I attended Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and received a M.Ed. in Educational Administration. After obtaining my degree, I remained at Hampton-Dumont where I served as a building principal for 11 years. I have served as a middle school principal in the Webster City School District since 2015.
My first and most important job is that of a husband and father. My wife Wendy is a middle school teacher in the Hampton-Dumont School District. We have three children, Sara (College Freshman), Sydney (10th grade) and Silas (7th Grade). Much of my free time revolves around my children and their interests. When not involved in family activities, I do enjoy spending time golfing. I also love to read and am an avid supporter of Iowa State University athletics.
