Mr. Buseman MS Principal

Meet Mr. Buseman!

I was born and raised in Belmond, IA, where I graduated from the Belmond Community School District. After graduating from high school, I attended Central College (Go Dutch!) in Pella, IA, and received a B.A. in Elementary Education. My first teaching job was in the Hampton-Dumont School District where I taught third grade for 12 years. During my teaching career I attended Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) and received a M.Ed. in Educational Administration. After obtaining my degree, I remained at Hampton-Dumont where I served as a building principal for 11 years. I have served as a middle school principal in the Webster City School District since 2015.

My first and most important job is that of a husband and father. My wife Wendy is a middle school teacher in the Hampton-Dumont School District. We have three children, Sara (College Freshman), Sydney (10^th grade) and Silas (7th Grade). Much of my free time revolves around my children and their interests. When not involved in family activities, I do enjoy spending time golfing. I also love to read and am an avid supporter of Iowa State University athletics.
