The Webroot keycode refers to a string of 20 alphanumeric digits. It is either provided through an email or is located in the product package. The keycode carries details regarding the subscription. Those who have a multi-user license can make use of the same Webroot keycode for installing the product on 3 or 5 devices.
Remove any previous versions of Webroot antivirus software. You need to do this to ensure there is no software conflict. Also, make sure to delete the installer file of the previous product as well.
How to Download and Install Webroot?
Click on the Webroot download link (www.webroot.com/safe) given in the prompt.
In case the installation prompt does not pop up automatically, go to the File Explorer, click on the CD drive, and run the installer from there.

Download the Webroot file.
Double-click on the downloaded file to fire up the installation procedure.

Open the Webroot app.
From the main interface, click on the My Account option.
Now, on the My Account page, click on the Activate option.
On the right panel, type your unique 20-character Webroot keycode.
Finally, click on the Activate button.
