Masks: Effective Monday, September 10th:

• The wearing of masks is voluntary unless masking is required due to a specific event or situation (e.g. such as a related outbreak in a classroom).

• Students or staff feeling ill during the day will be required to wear a mask until arrangements have been made for transport home.

• Students, staff, and parents, who have had Covid within the last 10 days, must wear a mask until the 10th day has been completed.

• We continue to encourage masking in crowded common areas such as hallways and washrooms, or when it is difficult to maintain your personal space, but again, that decision is voluntary.

• Everyone who chooses to wear a mask can wear a mask, and should not be questioned or challenged.

General Covid protocols:

• Students or staff feeling ill should not attend school and remain home until 24 hours after the symptoms have improved.

• Staff or students with suspected or confirmed Covid are strongly encouraged to remain home for 5 days or until any fever or symptoms have abated.
