Get Cloud Library! This gives students access to e-book from their very own device for FREE! Students interested in checking out and using ebooks through the SHARE catalog must have an account set up by their school’s library staff. Students will need their library card number and password to set up their 3M account. Students can get this information from their building librarian. Please refer to the helpful links listed below and to this linked handout regarding setting up and using the 3M Cloud app on your child's tablet or smart phone. Your local public library may also be able to assist.
Parents and students both must understand that both the SHARE catalog and 3M Cloud Library include materials from libraries serving all ages and all interests. It is important to note, as with anything online, it is the responsibility of parents to supervise their child’s experiences while accessing and using SHARE and the 3M Cloud Library materials. Students must abide by the District’s acceptable use policies regarding access to materials through the Internet.

Our Online Catalog called SHARE
Students may ask Mrs. Swaney to order books through the Illinois Heartland Library System. Students have access to 524 libraries throughout the state of Illinois. Mrs. Swaney may order a book from one of our cooperating libraries through the online system. The book will be delivered directly to our school and given to the student by their librarian.
SHARE is the name of the system we use to order books from libraries all over Illinois. Students may set up a SHARE account using your Sherman Elementary School Library information. Once you have set up your SHARE account, you can order books on your own to be delivered to our library.
Please contact Mrs. Swaney (Swaney@wcusd15.org) to get your library card number and PIN.
SHARE Library Catalog
Students can get (and use) your library card and PIN to access the titles that are available for you to order and check out for delivery to a public library in our district.
Take AR tests and plan your reading by using Bookfind. Remember that the quiz information for fiction materials and many of the nonfiction books is recorded on the title page. Make sure to look up the book in Bookfind or ask for help, if nothing is recorded. There still may be a quiz available.

Ebsco host is a database full of magazines, periodicals, books, videos to help with any research topic you can think of. If you access Ebsco within the walls of the district, you do not need a username or PIN.
If you would like access to EBSCO from home, contact Mrs. Swaney (swaney@wcusd15.org) for the username/PIN.
