Auditions will be held January 7th, 3:30-6:00 Dance Auditions 6:30-7:15, Call backs to follow

Audition information

If you are considering auditioning for a role in the show, here are some things to

know:

1. Complete the Audition Form 

2. Sign up for an Audition Time 

3. Sing one of the songs from the show based on the role(s) you are most interested in. Always sing in your most comfortable singing range. Accompaniment

tracks will be used in the auditions.  You can find videos of all audition music to practice with at https://bit.ly/3SKI52x

● While suggestions are given for which song to sing for specific roles, please choose the music that you are most comfortable singing.

○ “I See Stars” - This is recommended for Cady, Janis, Gretchen, Karen & Ensemble Roles

            ○ “World Burn” - This is recommended for Regina. This could be a good choice for Janis as well.

            ○ “More is Better” - This is recommended for Aaron.

○ “Where Do You Belong” - This is recommended for Damian

4. Choose one or two audition sides to perform from the selections provided. Please do not read the side to us. We would like you to perform it as the character. Not all of the characters are listed.  Select one and perform it as the character even if it is not the one assigned. 

5. Complete a dance audition. You can choose an in-person audition or a video audition. 

Dance Auditions:

• • Everyone is expected to complete the dance audition requirement.

  • You have two options.

    1. Watch the instructional video (coming soon) and then record yourself doing the dance. You will need to submit your dance recording to warren@wcusd15.org before 6:00 on January 8th.

OR

• • 2. Attend the in-person dance audition on January 8th at 6:30. The audition will be using the same dance in the video so you can prepare ahead of time. 

Callbacks:

• A list of people needing to attend callbacks will be posted at the conclusion of the dance audition.

• Not everyone will be needed at the callback.

• You will run through scenes with other people so we can see how people play off each other.

• You will have the opportunity to sing other songs from the show with Mrs. Cole's direction.
