National Art Honor Society or NAHS is Started by the National Art Education Association (NAEA) in 1978, the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) inspires and recognizes 10th – 12th graders who have shown an outstanding ability in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in art areas and brings art education to the attention of the school and community. SRMHS has a long-running chapter of NAHS.
If you join NAHS, you are expected to perform service hours, enter art shows, attend club meetings, and participate in club decision making and activities. In order to earn graduation regalia, you must meet the honor society's requirements. To understand more, read the ByLaws below and fill out the application form.
