Homework will be practice work given throughout each day.  We would like students to find time to read independently or with someone for 20+ minutes and fill in the reading log.  The 5th-grade team has an Ultimate Reading Challenge reading a variety of genres.  The school is providing books from the library, we have classroom books available, and on the homepage is a link to Scholastic to purchase books. Students may also use digital texts and use MyOn under the Renaissance app.  

Students should review vocabulary, especially for our science units.

Students have access to Quizlet to study vocabulary for any subject area.  Just type the topic with 5th- grade in the search box.

Students are encouraged to study before assessments.
