Grading Structure
Math 3
We will be grading this course on a Total Points structure. Each assessed assignment - Quiz, Test, Practice Set, Homework Summary, etc. - will count toward the quarter grade. The grade for the quarter will be the percentage of points a student accumulates on all of their assignments out of the number of points that could be accumulated on all assignments.
This course has a NC End of Course Final Exam, so all students will take the exam at the end of the course.
Math 4
We will be grading this course on a weighted category structure. Tests will count 50% of your quarter grade, quizzes will count 35%, and daily/other work swill count 15%. Each quarter grade is 40% of the course grade with the final exam counting 20%.
Since this course has a teacher-made final exam, seniors who meet the criteria are eligible to exempt the final exam.
