Ms. Mack Librarian
  • Information Literacy and Technology (ILT) class meets a minimum 1-3 times per week based on schedule. 

  • Lesson plans according to national and state curriculum standards.

  • Digital literacy, Internet safety and ethical practices using technology. 

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics (STEM / STEAM) activities. 

  • Storytime 

  • Exploratory Time 

  • Random Reading Time

  • Check-Out Books

  • Author visits

  • Book Fairs

Random Reading Time

Allows students the opportunity to randomly read fiction and non-fiction books they may have overlooked. Exposing them to different genres, series,  informational text, authors and characters. 

Exploratory Time / Flexible Seating / Free Choice

Gives students the opportunity to explore educational games, sit throughout the media center, finish up work assignments, browse our book bins or draw on our whiteboard tables.
