About Me

I am a mom of three teenagers. All three of my kids attended Mills Park Middle. My oldest started sixth grade when the school opened in 2010. Someone in my family has come to school at Mills Park every year since it opened. My three kids are all students at NC State this year. My daughter is a freshman--studying some sort of engineering. My son Charles is a junior studying mechanical engineering. My oldest, Campbell is a senior in computer engineering. My husband and I both graduated from high school in Chapel Hill. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I earned my Master's Degree from the University of Virginia. I have taught students at all grade levels as well as wide range of ability levels. I earned my National Board Certification in 2017. This will be my fifth year on the sixth grade team at Mills Park Middle.
