Last week we started learning about the Human Body during our CKLA block. We started with an overview of seven body systems before focusing on the skeletal system. We started learning about our axial bones first and have moved on to our appendicular bones. 

While we read, we are focusing on determining the main idea and details of the text and using text evidence to support our answers. During writing time, we are reviewing topic and concluding sentences and choosing the best order for detail sentences. We continue to practice morphology learning new prefixes and suffixes and seeing how they change root words. 

We are into review mode in math. We are reviewing every skill we have learned this year, spending extra time to review multiple step word problems. 

At the moment we are learning about life cycles of both animals and plants at science time.
