Many eAchieve courses include the use of online textbooks. Students can find textbook information for each class in the Textbook area of each class.
For each student requiring access to an online textbook, eAchieve purchases the license, sets up their account, and provides them with the login credentials. Students can view a complete list of all their textbook login credentials at http://tiny.cc/eAstudentTools .
Distributing physical copies of textbooks is NOT an official part of eAchieve's program. If a student feels they need a physical copy of the textbook, their parents may contact the office to request a copy. After all online textbook accounts have been purchased and set up for all students, the office staff will investigate if a physical copy exists and what it will cost to obtain a copy. After receiving payment from the parent equalling the replacement cost of the textbook and any associated costs in obtaining and shipping the textbook to the student, the office staff member will order the book and send it to the student. When the textbook is returned (in good condition), the family will be refunded the replacement cost of the textbook.
Students with IEPs that explicitly state a physical textbook should be provided will not be required to submit payment prior to the textbook being ordered and sent to them.
