Assignment 1 - Monday - I had you do an assignment in Tinkercad the week before spring break. Tinkercad is a very simple way to design for 3d printing. Read the article about how 3d design and printing was so important in our current situation. After you have read the article navigate to schoology for this week and leave a comment in the discussion.

Assignment 2 - Tuesday - You will receive an invitation to join a Google Meet for my class at 11:00 a.m. I realize that this may not be your normal time period for my class but I sure hope you will join. I will be presenting the Facebook Live Event of the St. George Police Department. They will demonstrate motorcycle skills, Emma the K-9, officer Mountain Biking Skills.

Assignment 3 - Wednesday/Thursday - We are all feeling the effects that COVID-19 has had on our community. There is a directive in Utah to 'Stay Home, Stay Safe' which means that we are only to go out when absolutely necessary. Many of my family members in California are in Lockdown and companies are facing criminal charges for remaining open. Some jobs are being considered essential while other employers are being asked to close their doors (non-essential). Diners are not allowed to eat in the restaurant, all food must be delivered or taken to go. My son is a Manager at Harmons and is working more hours now than he has for some time. They have more customers than usual buying more than usual. Because he is around so many customers and because I am an risk due to my heart I am not able to see my son except for brief visits while we sit outside in the yard keeping a good distance. Many people are putting themselves at risk to keep our community going.

Your assignment is to write about a job that might be considered essential. You will create a google doc and describe the job. What are the job responsibilities? Why do you consider the job essential? What would happen if the job was deemed non-essential and asked to stay at home.
