Drivers Education

Getting your Utah driver's license is a process. Please review the following information 

1.      First, you must go to the Driver's License Division (DLD) and get a Utah learner's permit by taking the written exam. (must be 15 years old)

 2.       As soon as you have your Utah permit you must take the driver's Ed class and simulator the sooner the better for everyone involved. 

 3. To get into a class you must have a Utah learner's permit and pay the fee in the finance office $175. During the school year, you can bring the receipt to Mr. Bundy's room 218 or email it to him at casey.bundy@washk12.org to let him know what class you would like to attend along with a (birth date and a phone number)

          Getting into a class is on a first come first serve basis. When the classes are full they are full, please don't wait until the last minute. There is also an online driver's Ed class each quarter that you can sign up for. 

          During the summer or at any time during the school year, you can pay through your parent PowerSchool Account and email the receipt to Mr. Bundy at casey.bundy@washk12.org and he will put you in a class of your choice until the class is full. (click on the school year or summer driver's Ed tab on the top left of this page for the schedule)

          During the school year, (one class is taught after school in person and one online class every quarter). The Summer schedule will be out each year around March 31st. No Summer online class is available.    

 (Graduated Seniors Can Not do driver's Education) Utah Online will not be accepted you will need to drive with a private instructor or retake the class through one of Washington County School Districts Schools.
