AP Exam Registration

Registration for AP Exams will take place on Wednesday October 4, 2023 during Hawk Block in the WHS Cafeteria.

All AP students should register for this special Hawk Block in MyFlexLearning.

Please bring your device and method of payment to Hawk Block to ensure a smooth registration process.

Exam Costs

AP Exam (except AP Seminar and AP Research) taken in the U.S., U.S. territories, Canada, and DoDEA schools* - $102/exam (CollegeBoard fee of $98/exam + $4/exam fee from Total Registration)

Late Registration

Exams ordered between November 16 and March 15 for full-year or first-semester courses incur a late order fee ($40/exam) in addition to the exam fee.

FEE Waivers

Some students may be eligible for a $36 College Board fee reduction per AP Exam.
In order to determine if you are eligible for a reduced fee, please verify your free/reduced lunch status by clicking here.

In order to streamline the ordering process, we ask that both you and your student review the following information:

All students should have an active CollegeBoard account and know the email address and password associated with their account.
- If you do not have a CollegeBoard account, please create one using a personal email address.
Students should be enrolled in their corresponding College Board’s AP Classroom. If a student is not enrolled, please enroll by going to : www.collegeboard.com/myap . A list of all classes and their join codes is available under the "Classroom" Tab of this website.
Students should bring a debit or credit card to school in order to pay for the exams. If you are not comfortable with your student bringing a debit or credit card to school you may either:
- Complete registration at home together
- Pay by check (for further details see below)
  - If you are sending your student to school with a check, please send students to school with a pre-addressed & stamped envelope
Waltham Public Schools uses Total Registration in order to submit payment for exams. Each exam is $102. This amount is set by CollegeBoard ($98/exam) plus a $4/exam fee from Total Registration.
- There is a fee reduction for those who qualify. To check to see if you qualify for fee reductions, please visit: https://www.myschoolapps.com/
If you opt to pay by check, you will need to follow the directions on the "Payment Stub" that is printed at the time of registration. If you did not print a payment stub, you can log in to www.TotalRegistration.net and click Make a Payment to either pay online or generate a new payment stub. It is important that all checks include the Reference Number in the memo of the check.

If your student is unable to attend Hawk Block for any reason, we ask that you complete registration at home. Arianna Drane, the AP Coordinator, will be on site during Hawk Block to assist with registration.
