Clubhouse News:  Meet Ms. Kramer

Hello parents and students at West Belmar!

This year marks my ninteenth year as an elementary school teacher. I have previously taught kindergarten and second grade and am very pleased to join the staff for the 2023-2024 school year for my tenth year as the technology teacher.

This year, I will continue to work in the classrooms as well. I will be supporting the regular curriculum by infusing relevant technology tools and activities into the classroom setting. 

I graduated with my master’s degree from Rutgers University in May 2013 and am a certified Reading Specialist.  I have a particular interest in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and their practical application in the elementary classroom.  In fact, I have published a few pieces of my writing on the CCSS including my first book published by Pearson, which was released in August 2014.  I look forward to using that knowledge this year as I design lessons that help my students develop their digital literacy.
