Using this feature allows you to go directly to the vendors website to get your requisition order complete! Create a cart and it exports back as your requisition!

Follow the instructions to help you out.
Go to Skyward Employee Access from the school web page
Select Financial Management
3. Go to Purchasing, then Requisitions
4. Order from ONLINE CATALOG Click here for more Information!
5. Complete the details on the requisition. Remember the following tips:
Requisition Set Up Information
Check the Requisition group and account tied to the requisition to make sure it is correct.
Fiscal year, check to make sure the year is correct. Current Year: 2024-25, Next Year 2025-2026
Description: Add as much information here as needed, ex:
Teacher Name
List supplies/equipment being purchased (examples: Peterson - 25 Chromebooks or Seeber - 3rd Grade Classroom supplies)
Describe what it is being purchased for (class, subject, group, etc)
List any grants or special account the item would come out of.
VENDOR, SHIPPING, DUE DATE
Attention: Person ordering/Your Name
Due Date: Today's Date for this year
Due date for 25-26 use 7/1/25
Ship Date: Today's Date for this year
For 25-26 year use 8/1/2025 or earlier date if needed
Ship via: Best Way
Step 4: Click to go to vendor's website
7. Shop through the site as you would anything else. Add items to your cart. When you are finished shopping, proceed to checkout. You will be prompted to transfer the order back into Skyward.
8. Finish the requisition.
Tips for finishing order later with on-line catalogs:
1) View items in your cart
2) If you approve, proceed to check out,
3) Transfer
4) Your order line detail will be in your skyward requisition
5) Click "Save and Finish Later" tab (upper right), just below the submit tab
If you do not process your order and transfer it to your requisition, you will lose items in your cart. Your cart does not get saved. So make sure if you want the items, get them into your requisition and "save and finish later". If you do not click on "save and finish later" you will lose your complete requisition and have to start over.
Now you want to finish your order:
1) Find your WIP requisition that you want to finish your on-line order with
2) Highlight it and click "Edit"
3) Click "Add" tab
4) This will take you back to your on-line catalog for that vendor. Complete your order by adding your items needed in the cart
5) Once complete, "Proceed to checkout"
6) Transfer
7) Your new items will now show up with the previous saved item.
(If order is complete, do steps 8 & 9. If not complete, do step 5 and then step 1 when you want to finish)
8) Add Account Detail
9) Submit for Approval
Amazon may keep your cart due to you having to login to your business account. So Amazon may not have a issue with losing items as the others. The other vendors are direct links so that is the reason the cart does not save.
