India is an ancient country with great diversity. It has made notable contributions in the fields of philosophy, mathematics, science, arts, literature and music. It has its own unique cuisine.
Since mid nineteen-sixties many individuals from India have migrated to the UK and have become its citizens. While they have settled in the UK and are contributing to their adopted land’s economy, they continue to appreciate the value of India’s cultural heritage and would like to expose their children and grandchildren to the arts and culture of India to enrich their lives. It is also believed that students from other ethnic groups and national origins would like to learn about India and its heritage. VYOE is organised to fulfil this need and desire.
We believe that the primary education received by our children at the public school forms the primary foundation basis. The program offered by VYOE is conceived as a parallel program. Its scope is limited in. It offers classes on a variety of subjects through its weekends only class schedules. Its scope is also limited because it relies entirely on volunteer teachers and staff.
