The annual Appalachian Laser Tag Festival is hosted by the Laser Tag Club at Virginia Tech (LCAT - click for out Discord server). The event is free, will run August 7-9, and is open to the public. Schedule of events:

August 7

• Participants can start arriving at 2pm

• Potluck cookout starts around 6pm

• Campfire/star gazing/ field games

August 8

• Breakfast on your own

• Games start around 8:30-9-ish

• Lunch around 12 - on your own and/or leftovers from cookout

• Games 1 - 5-ish

• Pizza around 5:30-6:30 (bring $5 per person to contribute to the pizza pool)

• Campfire/star gazing/ field games

August 9

• Breakfast pancakes for those that want

• Clean up site and go home

Come for a morning, afternoon, evening, or the entire event. If you plan to come, please register. The LCaT will be providing equipment. If you have the same equipment or a modified version of the equipment, please feel free to bring it. Playing is free though AA battery donations are always appreciated. If camping, a $5 donation is suggested.

VT students, if you want to camp but do not have gear, check Venture Out, Part of VT's Recreational Sports: https://recsports.vt.edu/outdooractivities.html 

All ages are welcome but event organizers will not assume responsibility for youth under 18 years of age. As such, a parent or designated guardian/group leader should be present and any young youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. LCAT is a community club where anyone in the New River Valley area is welcome to join. We hosts games most Saturdays at Pandapas Pond and all our games are free to the public. Games are announced on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/Xm5zF5HXKz.
