Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Orapallo (Mr. O), and I’m thrilled to be your 8th grade ELA/Social Studies teacher at Visitation BVM School for the upcoming year. Here’s a bit about me:
I grew up in South Philadelphia and went through Catholic schools from kindergarten all the way to Graduate School. Catholic education has been a huge part of my life, and I’m passionate about bringing its values and sense of community into our classroom. I believe in nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth in every student. I earned my B.A. in History/Political Science from Holy Family University and my M.Ed in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment from Cabrini University. This is my 7th year at Visitation BVM School, and I’m looking forward to another great year!

Running is my jam! Whether it's hitting the trails, training for a marathon, or just going for a casual run, I’m always on the move. It’s my favorite way to stay fit and clear my mind.
My family and I have a blast at our lake house in Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s our go-to spot for relaxing weekends, boating, fishing, and enjoying quality time together. We love soaking up the tranquility and making memories by the water.
