Helping students be Responsible, Safe, and Kind.
My Vision/ Mission for the school counseling program:
It is the vision of the elementary school counseling program to create an environment that celebrates each student's unique qualities, limits barriers to education and gives each student an equal opportunity to learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Waterloo Elementary School Counseling Program's mission is to collaborate with school staff, familis, and community organizations to identify barriers to student success, and develop a team approach to address and eliminate barriers to education, while providing services that are based in ASCA's Student Standards: Mindsets and Behaviors for student success.
