Performances
As part of the Alabama Course of Study, mandated by the State Board of Education, choir students must be provided with performance opportunities. This means that performances are a required part of the curriculum; therefore, performances are graded and considered co-curricular, not extra-curricular. The Pizitz music program is a performance-oriented curriculum, and as such, attendance is required at all performances. Concerts and Performances are what we in the music department prepare for all year. The criteria for concert attendance are the same as it is for school attendance. Please refer to the Pizitz Student handbook for the criteria.
