Pizitz Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Pizitz Library Media Program seeks to ensure each student learns without limits by pursuing knowledge and igniting curiosity about the world through a system distinguished by a safe and nurturing environment, the courage to be creative, unparalleled community support, appreciation of diversity, and multiple paths to a bold future.
Vision - In collaboration with the school's learning community, Pizitz Middle School's library media program will be the center of teaching and learning by providing access to quality collections and technologies and by extending services beyond the library media center's four walls and the school day.
Hours
7:15 AM to 2:55 PM Daily
Students are welcome to come to the library before school for a quiet place to study or work.
Library opening and closing times may vary due to special events and meetings.
Students must have a valid pass between 8:00 AM and 2:55 PM.

Students may check out up to 2 items for a period of 2 weeks and items may be renewed. We do not charge overdue fines, but we do encourage students to keep their items turned in and/or renewed to maintain their checkout privileges. Books that are overdue for more than 2 weeks may not be renewed.
The Library Media Center has a printer available for student use. Black and white printed pages cost $0.10 per side and pages printed in color cost $0.25 per side. Please be sure to print ONLY what you need or plan to pay for; you are responsible for paying for whatever you print. Please see Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Wilson if you need assistance printing.
Students are required to login using their own user name and password to use Library Media Center computers. Students must adhere to the student code of conduct and the Acceptable Use Policy for Technology while in the Library Media Center.
