Since 2012, Vishvajit is associated with Uka Tarsadia University. He was associated as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, C. G. Patel Institute of Technology (August 2012 - October 2021). Since October 2021, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Asha M. Tarsadia Institute of Computer Science and Technology. In addition, he is also serving as Head of Diploma studies at Diwaliba Polytechnic at Uka Tarsadia University Mahuva Campus. He is a member of many professional bodies of his field including the International Neural Network Society (INNS), Association for Computer Linguistics (ACL), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Computer Society of India (CSI), Institute of Engineers (IE), etc.
His research interests are centered on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing. He has published more than 10 national and international research papers in his domain of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has been granted 1 design patent and published 1 utility patent (as of November 2021). Vishvajit is the coordinator of research laboratories such as Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He has guided 7 postgraduate student thesis. He is having working experience with many industries. He is actively involved in research and development in the thrust areas of technology.
He is currently holding some administrative positions like a member of the Board of Studies, Convenor of Intellectual Property Right Cell of University, Member of Institutional Innovation Council of the University, and Member of Student Start-up and Innovation Policy (SSIP) Cell.
