March Multiplication Madness
March Multiplication Madness
Who: All UOS students grades 3-6
What: A fun competition to encourage learning math facts!
Friendly Competition: Students can compete against their classmates and other students in their grade. The contest will encourage healthy competition while motivating students to excel in math.
Daily Practice: Each day for 2 weeks, students will log in to Reflex Math (an account will be created for your child upon sign-up if you don’t already have one), earn a green light, and master as many facts as they can.
Prizes and Recognition: We'll recognize students who master their facts and put in the work each day! We’ll send prizes to those who demonstrate exceptional multiplication mastery.
When: March 17th- 31st.

Other: Join us for a farm field trip, along with a wagon ride at Wheeler Historic Farm! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour to check in at Activity Barn office (north of the main parking lot).
- Tour Includes: A guide for your tour of the farm, blacksmith
demonstration, museum home and a wagon ride.
- Liability/Responsibility: Please be advised: teachers, parents, or
designated guardians need to be responsible for children at all times
while on Wheeler Historic Farm and during the guided tours. This
includes keeping children away from closed-off areas and dangerous
equipment or machinery, informing children as appropriate of various
risks and hazards on the property as explained by Farm staff.

Other: We would greatly appreciate it if you could make sure your students know about museum etiquette. This includes no running or shouting in the museum, staying with their chaperones at all times, maintaining at least an arm’s length from artworks and doing their best not to touch them, as well as no food or drink in the galleries.

What: Tour of Bee Sweet Ice Cream and Coffee along with a yummy scoop of your favorite ice cream!
When: April 17th, 2026
Where: 2 West St. George, Blvd. Suite #46 in Ancestor Square
Cost: FREE!
Come enjoy some ice cream and a fun tour of the ice cream and coffee shop. This is owned by one of our very own families at UOS and we're excited to get the inside "scoop" on everything the shop prepares!

INCLUDED: bowling, laser tag, mega playground, miniature croquet, & 10 arcade games
COST: FREE, but add-ons are optional.
$5 for ropes course
$10 for FlowRider
Guests can pay for arcade credit if they want to play more arcade games and earn tickets for prizes

Bird Houses in the Park!
Bird Houses in the Park!
What: Come learn about bird houses, what attracts birds to them and how we can help our environment by safely feeding birds while we watch and enjoy their beauty. We will paint and assemble the houses and then play at the park with friends. If you have earned a 100% club prize from Mrs. Charlton, those will be availalbe for pick up. If you're not returning to UOS you can also drop off a chromebook - any class can do that! Come join us

This is the Place State Park
This is the Place State Park
This awesome field trip will let you go back in time and learn about pioneer life and Utah history! It is also the end-of-year activity for Salt Lake and Tooele Counties. Come join us!
Who: UOS Students and their immediate families
What: Self-Guided exploration of the park, 3 activities, and unlimited train rides.
Date: Wednesday, May 20th
Time: We enter the park at 11:00 am. To be included, you MUST arrive no later than 10:45 am.
