 Join other UOS families and explore holiday traditions from around the world through art, theater, and story. 

UOS will pay for UOS students, learning coaches will be responsible to pay for all other non-UOS students.  Parents/Chaperones get in for free. The cost for non-UOS students is $4 and you will pay upon arrival at the museum.

Please be aware that it is very important for your children to stay close by throughout the tour.  They will give us a bit of time at the end for free exploration.

CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD

 


Your family will love this fun event! This holiday tradition showcases the rich ethnic diversity of the world through music and dance and features more than 200 dancers, singers, and musicians, colorful costumes and captivating choreography.

School Matinee: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2018, 10:00 AM, MARRIOTT CENTER

All UOS STUDENTS ARE FREE

ALL OTHER ATTENDEES MUST PREPAY $4 via PayPal (follow link on RSVP page). Only chaperones, and ages 5-12 allowed to this event.

Duration: approximately 50 minutes

Age admitted: 5-12 (K-6). Limit one adult chaperone per family or for every 10-20 students

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • BABIES AND CHILDREN UNDER AGE 5 WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THIS PERFORMANCE
  • YOUTH OLDER THAN 12 YEARS OLD WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO THIS PERFORMANCE
  • Additional single tickets will not be available to purchase for this event at any time.
  • Seat location will be assigned by ushers upon arrival at the Marriott Center. Saving seats will not be allowed for this performance. If you wish to sit by another family, please wait until everyone has arrived to enter the Marriott Center together.
  • Tickets will not be issued for this performance. Ushers will check your name on a list at the door upon arrival.
  • Parking will be available in the lots north (19Y) and northeast (20Y) of the Marriott Center (see attached map for location) except for all stalls marked with an “A” sign. Do not park in the “A” parking stalls or 15 minute parking.   Please follow the directions of the traffic officers on duty.
  • If your group is planning on having lunch after the performance, please stay on the concourse at the Marriott Center.

Heber Valley Railroad Field Trip

The Heber Valley Historic Railroad cordially invites you to ride Utah’s only historic railroad, for a trip into Utah’s history!

Date:  Thursday, May 9, 2019          

(this field trip isn’t until the end of the school year, but we are getting a count in advance so we can reserve spots)

Place:  Heber City, UT (at the Heber Valley Railroad)                                                                                                                                                         

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Cost: UOS Students are Free
Siblings 2 and under are FREE
Siblings 3-17
are $5
Adults (18 and up) are $10

The field trip will include:
• An introduction to Operation Lifesaver, a railroad safety course for students of all ages.
• A brief tour of the Heber Valley Historic Railroad facilities, where students will get a glimpse of the
on-going preservation of Utah’s railroad history.
• A 90 minute train ride with an on-board guide who will point out historical, geographical, and geological features you may see along the route.

Please RSVP here by this FRIDAY, October 19th if you'd like to tentatively reserve a spot. This will help us know approximately how many to plan for and get spots reserved.
