Welcome to Language Arts 8!

My name is Mrs. Herron and I am your instructor for Language Arts this semester.  I am so excited to be getting this semester started, and I look forward to meeting/getting to know each of you! 

Just a couple of quick items:

1)      If you have not already logged into the class, it is up and ready to go.  Please log in and begin working on unit one’s assignments this week. Here is a link to a document to show you how to access your course.  Also, here is a great resource to help you with pacing this semester.  This document shows you how to access a day by day guide of what you need to complete in the course in order to finish on time.

2)      Please review and e-sign your course disclosure.  This document has a lot of information that will help you to be successful throughout this semester.  It also explains about our school’s Language Arts courses and what to expect this year.

3)      Feel free to contact me with any questions and/or concerns.  I will work to answer your questions via email, text, phone, or with an appointment in the virtual classroom.  I am happy to help, so please stay in contact and let me know how your course is going throughout the semester.
