Video Projects

Create short, 30 - 60 second videos over what classes are about: Show Mr. Johnson's Metals class example. Recreate this video with student involvement.

Topics to Create Videos Over

Again, these videos should be no more than 30 -60 seconds long. Students should be in the video, explaining the name of the class, the equipment they are using, and how it works.

• Recreate the Knife Making Video

• Bronco 1 (The Drone): What it can do, how it works, how we can use it.

• Wirecast Software: Set it up, demonstrate how it works with multiple cameras, sound, scoreboard. Show people how it works.

• Game Day Setup: Setup the broadcast equipment in the gym press box and walk through how we do all of that.

• GarageBand: Show how it works, how you can have no musical knowledge and still make cool music!

• Tee Shirt Shop: Have the students show off how they run that system and equipment.

Note: Use the link below to show me how you split up these assignments. No more than two to a group allowed, unless we are odd numbered for some reason, then ONE group of three is allowable. Use the "30 -60 Second Video Ad" tab on the link spreadsheet to get organized.

REMINDER: You can use the GoPro, the iPads, and the cameras. Put them back in GREAT condition when finished. Charge them up as needed. Keep the equipment cabinet organized please!

Go to Bitsbox JavaScript coding site. Click on "Get Started." Click on "Let's Go." Go through the "Food Fight" app. When finished, it will ask if you" have a Bitsbox book or card with you?" Select NO. Go through all of the online activities. They are short and simple to understand. After going through them, select one of the packets linked below and run through them. They are pretty cool! Each "app" has a four digit "numbered app." This is the code number to pull up the app you are to build. Go through either of these packets. I think you will like this!

You might want to open the packets on a computer next to you and use just your computer for the Bitsbox site.

Super Powers Apps!!! If this pulls up sideways, download it, click on "tools," and then "rotate." No need for a sore neck. :)

How are your video projects going?

IF you use your own phone/device, you are to report to Mr. Bumgarner so that he knows. You are NOT to use your own device unless you report to him first. You may use it for this class period, then that device is to be in your locker or vehicle after class. Failure to follow these rules will result in bad things happening. :)

IF you use your own phone/device, you are to report to Mr. Bumgarner so that he knows. You are NOT to use your own device unless you report to him first. You may use it for this class period, then that device is to be in your locker or vehicle after class. Failure to follow these rules will result in bad things happening. :)
