The Squat-Right

In 2009 the KEMFA State Powerlifting Meet took the guesswork out of judging the squat by introducing the "Squat-Right."  The "Squat-Right" is a simple device that lets the lifters, spotters, and judges know when they have reached the parallel position during the lift, by using a bungee chord set at the lifters pre-determined parallel level.  While weighing in, lifters all performed a squat for our judge and received a number that is their parallel position.  Below is a diagram of the "Squat-Right", if you have any questions email drobison@usd112.org.
