Meet Brooklynn

Brooklynn Drake is the daughter of Mindy and Wes Keller. Brooklynn has two older sisters, Alexis and Allie, and one younger brother, Kolten. Brooklynn is 14 years old and was born May 4, 2009. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. 

Throughout Brooklynn’s life, multiple people have made an impact on her life but the people that have made the biggest impact are her mom, Mindy, and her sister, Allie. Brooklynn said, “My mom has made an impact in my life because she always encourages me and is always there for me, she always shows up for me. Allie has impacted me because she is a good role model in my life and she does great things and I am inspired to be like her when I grow up.”

Brooklynn’s dog Leo is the most important thing in her life. He is a 3-year-old black lab.  “Leo is so important to me because he is my best friend and we are just each other's best friends. He is the best dog in the world even though he runs away. I've had him since he was a baby. He always makes sure I'm ok and bad things don't happen to me.” 

On the weekends Brooklynn enjoys hanging out with Leo and Kolten. She also enjoys hanging out with her friends H’Leigha Idol and Brooklyn Rawles. Brooklynn enjoys going to eat Mexican food and shopping with her friends. 

Brooklynn is currently involved in FFA, volleyball, softball, and Kay Club. During volleyball season Brooklynn enjoys playing with her teammates and being a part of such an amazing team. She enjoyed celebrating every point and every win with her friends. Brooklynn is excited to get better and be a better teammate.

In high school, Brooklynn is looking forward to being successful and getting where she wants to be in life. She also looks forward to playing sports and making new friends. It’s only Brooklynn’s freshman year of high school but after high school, she plans to attend Washburn University or K-State to become an x-ray tech. After college, she wants to live by herself and become rich.
