Get to know sophomore Paige Smith of DWHS, who is going to graduate in 2024. Smith partakes in sports and volunteers for school related activities often.
Q: “What do you plan to do after high school?”
A: “I plan to go to college and train and/or intern for the job that I want.”
Q: “What career are you looking into?”
A: “I am looking into becoming a labor and delivery nurse.”
Q: “What is your favorite class in high school?”
A: “English because I like to write and read.”
Q: “Who is your favorite teacher?”
A: “Miss Miller because she does fun experiments, listens to people, and asks them about their days.”
Q: “Do you idolize anyone?”
A: “I idolize my dad because he is a hard worker and he continues to push through the things that life throws at him constantly. He doesn't give up and I admire him for that and I hope to be like him someday.”
Q: “How much money do you want to make yearly when you're older?”
A: “I want to make enough to be able to pay the bills and have enough left over just in case. There is not a certain amount that I would like to make--just enough to where I'm not struggling.”
Q: “What is your favorite movie?”
A: “The Wizard of Oz. My favorite part of the Wizard of Oz is when Dorothy realizes that it was all a dream and none of it was real.”
Q: “What is your least favorite music genre?”
A: “Heavy metal. I tend not to have any favorites so I just choose something random, I don't have any song that I prefer over any others.”
Q: “What is your favorite show on Netflix?”
A: “Peaky Blinders or Outer Banks. It's very hard to choose.”
Q: “Do you have any pets or siblings? If so, what are their names?”
A: “Yes, I have 5 siblings and their names from oldest to youngest are Hanna, Dacota, Andria, Julia, and Tristian. I also have one dog and two guinea pigs. My dog’s name is Harley and the guinea pigs’ names are Gus Gus and Milo.”
Q: “What is one or two words that describe yourself?”
A: “hardworking and stubborn.”
Q: “What is your favorite color?”
A: “grey.”
Q: “Do you play any sports or enjoy watching any?”
A: “I do track and powerlifting.”
Q: “If you could move anywhere in the world for free, where would it be?”
A: “Greece or Italy.”
