Hannah Adame is the Agriculture teacher for our school. For journalism, I decided to interview Mrs. Adame and asked her some questions about herself.
Q1: How long have you been teaching?
A1: This is my third year teaching and third year at Doniphan West High School.
Q2: When did you begin teaching?
A2: I started teaching just after I graduated from college. I graduated from Kansas State University in May of 2019. I started in August of 2019.
Q3: What inspired you to teach and what inspired you to teach about agriculture?
A3: I grew up in a traditional farm family. I am 5th generation on the farm. We raised cattle, sheep, and goats and grew wheat, corn, and hay. I was an active 4-H and FFA members and enjoyed competing and participating in ag related activities. That background led me to follow my passion for agriculture and become an advocate for agriculture. Thus leading me to teaching the subject I am most passionate about.
Mrs. Adame recently got a fish tank for her horticulture class. In the fish tank is a system for growing plants without soil.
