I am the oldest of four children. Our ages range from 14 to 2 so it can sometimes, actually all the time, be hectic.
Let me start with the pros. I feel that being the oldest sibling means that you are slightly more respected by the family, not necessarily preferred, but you have the respect of your younger siblings. They all look up to me so I guess that is kind of nice.
I never get hand me downs. Everything I get was mine before anyone else. So now everything that doesn't fit goes to the next. I get my own room, which is peaceful because my siblings are crazy and obnoxious.
And lastly, I basically just do what I want when I am at home. I still do chores, but I'm responsible enough to just do stuff without being told.
Onto the cons, I am constantly getting blamed for everything. My sister does something to make my brother mad, and I'm the one getting blamed. I am looked at for homework help. When my mom doesn't know how to do a math problem, she looks at me for help, like I know how to do it . You could say I am now an "uber." It seems like I am always picking up my sister from practices, her friends', or taking her places.
The worst part about being the oldest is you're a built in free babysitter. I know it sounds bad but most of the time I don't even watch them, so I guess it isn't that bad, but still I could be doing better things.

DWHS has taken many precautions to keep their students safe from COVID-19, but as of Tuesday, October 6, two high school football players tested positive for the virus.
The DWHS football team of 14, had only five players standing at the end of the week. Students in close contact with these two students are in quarantine for the next two weeks.
However, many students have self quarantined themselves to keep safe. DWHS is being even more strict on wearing masks, washing tables, and keeping six feet to keep their students safe in school.
