In January 2020, a survey was sent out to all DWHS students and 34 responded to questions about having special talents or gifts..
Kinlee Whetstine, junior, said that she can roll her tongue. Whetstine said that no one else in her family can roll their tongues but her. She doesn't know where she learned this talent because she said she didn't teach herself to roll her tongue.
Myah Olson, junior, said her talent is doing a stomach roll. She found out about this talent when she saw her dad was doing it and she tried doing it as well as her dad. Olson said that other people can do this in her family but it weirds people out when she shows them.
Junior Cayden Rickey said his talent is adapting to the cold or heat during football. He found out he had this talent during his seventh grade football season. Rickey said that there might be other people in his family that could do this talent but he is not for sure.
Freshman Jacob Blanton said he can wiggle his ears as his hidden talent. Blanton said he did this on accident and he kept practicing it and now he is good at it. He said that more people in his family can do this, it's not just him. Blanton said that he did teach himself how to do this because when he accidentally did it the first time he tried to find the right muscle to move and do it again.
Hey everyone! I'm Sarra Murphy and I am a freshman in high school. I like sports and to have fun in my free time. I am 14 years old and my birthday is March 16, 2005. Some sports I do are volleyball, basketball, and paintball. My family has our own paintball field, and it is in Maysville, Missouri. Some things I like to do for fun are spend time with my family and do some of my favorite hobbies, which include drawing, doing tik toks, and hanging with friends. Thanks for spending time to get to know me!
