Backpacks are the new fashion statement and people are getting the most stylish backpacks ever. What is something students must have in their backpack at all times? Why do they need this stuff in their bag?
Sophomore Elle Williams said she always has a pencil and binder in her bag. Something Williams can live without that is in her backpack is chapstick. Williams wishes that she could have a lot of snacks in her bag.
Sophomore Broc Leatherman said that his backpack is a lifeline and needs it for everything.
In his backpack, he carries his Chromebook, charger, and all of his school stuff, for all of his classes. Leatherman said he can live without gum but also wants more gum in his bag so he can have an endless supply.
Here's some tips for backpack necessities for someone just starting high school.
Notebook paper, folders, binders, planners, etc.
Computer or Chromebook.
Pens, pencils, highlighters.
Lip balm, lotion, tissues, hand sanitizer, etc.
Water bottle and snacks.
Headphones and chargers.
Keys.
Cell phone.
If a person has all the above-mentioned items, they may be the most prepared person in high school. However, they must make sure they do not overload and make it too heavy.

Hey ya'll I'm Lilly Clark, freshman at DWHS. I play volleyball, basketball, track, cross country, and cheer and dance. My favorite sport is volleyball because I love playing the games. I enjoy hanging with my friends and I really enjoy food. I enjoy making desserts and cookies, but i absolutely love tacos. I enjoy listening to rap and country music. My family is super important to me and I always love their company.
