This league is open to BOYS IN GRADES 2-6. The major focus of this league is on the fundamentals of basketball. Students in Grades 4-6 have the choice to play in this league OR try out for the URBANA TRAVEL TEAMS. If players do not make the travel team, they are automatically eligible to play in the Youth League. It is important to note that we will use 10 foot rims and youth sized basketballs in this league. Games and Practices will be held at Urbana High School.
Players in this league will receive:
Pre-Season Clinics with all coaches/players (November)
Pre-Season Practices (November/December)
Games played in January/February
Urbana basketball jersey and T-Shirt

Students in Grades 4-6
The Urbana Travel Basketball Teams will include a team for 6th grade, 5th grade, and 4th grade. TRYOUTS ARE NECESSARY TO MAKE THIS TEAM. Any player who does not make the TRAVEL TEAM is automatically eligible to play in the Youth League.
Practices will be held twice a week in November and December. In January after games begin, practices will be held once per week.
Games will be in January and February on Saturdays and Sundays against other schools in the CBC and OHC Area.
