Teaching

My teaching experience during 2004-2024 covers a diverse range of subjects within the field of environmental science and chemistry, including analytical chemistry, environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental pollution, bioremediation, ecology and biodiversity, environmental health, environmental soil chemistry, environmental soil microbiology, and biofertilizers. This wide array of topics reflects my dedication to educating the next generation of environmental professionals and fostering a comprehensive understanding of critical environmental issues.

Analytical Chemistry: University of Sulaimani

In the realm of analytical chemistry, I have taught students the fundamentals of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.

EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment): University of Sulaimani, practical

I have also conducted courses on environmental impact assessment, a crucial aspect of responsible development and decision-making. My teaching includes imparting knowledge about the EIA process, legal frameworks, and the assessment of potential environmental impacts associated with development projects.

Environmental Pollution: University of Sulaimani

Teaching about environmental pollution has allowed me to explore the various sources, types, and impacts of pollution on ecosystems and human health. I emphasize the importance of pollution control measures and sustainable practices in mitigating environmental harm.

Bioremediation: University of Sulaimani

Bioremediation is a fascinating field that I have shared with my students. I introduce the principles and applications of bioremediation techniques, which utilize microorganisms to clean up contaminated environments, providing ecologically friendly solutions to pollution problems.

Ecology and Biodiversity: university of Sulaimani

My courses on ecology and biodiversity delve into the intricate web of interactions within ecosystems and the importance of conserving biodiversity. I emphasize the ecological principles that underpin ecosystem health and stability, as well as the threats posed by habitat destruction and invasive species.

Environmental Health: University of Sulaimani

Environmental health is a subject that explores the connections between environmental factors and human well-being. I instruct students on assessing the impact of environmental contaminants on public health and strategies for minimizing risks and improving environmental health.

Environmental Soil Chemistry: University of Sulaimani

Environmental soil chemistry is an integral part of my teaching, focusing on the interactions between soil and chemical pollutants. Students learn about soil properties, soil-contaminant interactions, and strategies for soil remediation.

Environmental Soil Microbiology: University of Sulaimani

Understanding the role of microorganisms in soil ecosystems is vital for comprehending biogeochemical cycles and the degradation of pollutants. My teaching covers soil microbiology, highlighting how microorganisms influence soil health and the remediation of contaminated sites.

Biofertilizer: University of Sulaimani

The promotion of sustainable agriculture and responsible soil management is a key component of my teaching. I introduce students to the concept of biofertilizers, emphasizing their eco-friendly and nutrient-enhancing qualities for improved crop production.

Environment for Health: University of Sulaimani

The "Environment for Health" lecture explores the intricate relationship between environmental factors and human health, highlighting the impacts of air and water pollution, climate change, and chemical exposures, and concluding with solutions like policy measures, innovative technologies, and community action.

Ecotoxicology: University of Sulaimani

The Ecotoxicology lecture delves into the study of toxic substances' impacts on ecosystems, examining pollution sources, effects on flora and fauna, bioaccumulation processes, and mitigation strategies, emphasizing the importance of preserving biodiversity and ecosystem health through scientific and regulatory approaches.
