Outline Biography
Zaid Khalaf was born in Bashiqa, Mosul, Iraq in 1978.
He received the BSc. degree in College of veterinary medicine from Mosul University, Iraq, in 2001.
The MSc degree in Vet. Public health at the same college, in 2003.
He had a PhD. degree in Food hygiene from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sulimani, Kurdistan, Iraq, in 2011.
In 2004, he joined the Department of Animal Production, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of Sulaimani, became an assistant lecturer. His current research interests include food hygiene and quality control of animal products.
As an academic staff member of the College, he is responsible for the development of the Animal Production Department, He is also being a member of the Scientific committee of Department and the CAD Committee of the College.
Research Interests
Zaid research interest includes the following fields;
1.Food Hygiene.
2. Quality control of Animal products.
3- Food analysis.
