My Philosophy in Teaching:

As a college of Pharmacy lecturer, my teaching philosophy revolves around three key pillars: student-cantered learning, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a passion for lifelong learning.

Firstly, it is my firm belief that education should be cantered around the students' needs, interests, and learning styles. I strive to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that encourages active student participation and collaboration.

Secondly, I place a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills among my students. Pharmacy is a field that demands analytical thinking, as pharmacists are responsible for making crucial decisions that directly impact patient care. Therefore, I guide my students towards understanding the underlying concepts and principles rather than solely focusing on memorization. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world applications, I challenge my students to think critically, analyze information, and develop sound clinical reasoning abilities.

Lastly, I strive to cultivate a lifelong passion for learning among my students. The field of Pharmacy is constantly evolving, with new discoveries and advancements regularly reshaping the healthcare landscape. I encourage my students to embrace a growth mindset and instill in them a desire for continuous learning. By incorporating current research and evidence-based practice into my teachings, I inspire my students to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical field. I also encourage them to explore their personal interests within the wider realm of Pharmacy, be it research, clinical practice, or academia.
