Outline Biography

My name is Tara Rasool Hussein Al-barazanchi, and I am a lecturer at the University of Sulaimani/College of Dentistry in the Conservative Department. I graduated with a BDS in dentistry in 2002 from the University Of Sulaimani College Of Dentistry. Following graduation, I completed dental vocational training from 2002–2006 at different dental teaching centers. I have been closely involved in treating patients over this period. I have been practicing in private and public clinics since 2006.

I obtained my MSc degree in Conservative Dentistry at the College of Dentistry University of Sulaimani in 2008 and PhD degree at Newcastle University in the UK in 2020. Currently, I am a lecturer at Sulaimani University, where I have taught Conservative Dentistry since 2006, and I taught all aspects of undergraduate and postgraduate through the clinical supervision of students, lectures, tutorials, clinical skill practice, and seminars up-to-date.  Additionally, I have authored a curriculum for our 2nd and 3rd -years undergraduate students entitled Preclinical Manual for Operative Dentistry.

Research Interests

My research interest includes the following fields;

1. Resin composite materials.

2. Fixed prosthodontics.

3. Root canal treatment/

4. Esthethic dentistry
