My teaching philosophy is grounded in a student-centered, critical, and interdisciplinary approach that fosters not only knowledge acquisition but also the development of intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and independent reasoning. I aim to cultivate attitudes of open-mindedness, intellectual humility, and a commitment to lifelong learning, encouraging students to engage deeply with ideas, challenge assumptions, and construct well-reasoned arguments. Through this approach, I seek to equip students with the skills of critical analysis, effective communication, and problem-solving, enabling them to navigate complex political and philosophical questions with confidence and depth.
At the undergraduate level, I emphasize both classical and modern political thought, encouraging students to critically engage with foundational texts and contemporary debates. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and critical debates, I guide students in drawing connections between political theories and real-world issues, fostering analytical skills that extend beyond the classroom. My experience in pedagogical training and academic development also informs my teaching, ensuring that postgraduate students not only master content but also develop innovative teaching and research methodologies.Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate critical thinkers, independent scholars, and effective educators who can contribute meaningfully to both academia and society.
At the Centre for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development, I train and mentor MA and PhD holders as they work toward earning their scientific title, a process that requires successful completion of a pedagogical training course. My teaching focuses on equipping future academics with essential pedagogical skills, innovative methodologies, and a deeper understanding of higher education dynamics. My areas of instruction include:
Student-Centered Approach
