My Philosophy in Teaching
I believe that we are educators not just teachers ; after 24 years’ experience in academic teaching with students from different environments ,in my opinion to be a successful teacher needs some keys :
The first key; is to be passionate for teaching because when you have passion, you will be able to give positive energy to your students so they can notice your interest, pay attention and follow you in the subject, also this passion make the teachers develop themselves and improve their knowledge as a result they reflect their knowledge to their students in the best way.
The second key ; is to be an influential figure and making a fingerprint in their life ,that can be done by making a friendship with the students based on respect, understand from both sides without crossing the hidden line or red line between the teacher and the students .
For example if you look at our study process ,you found that the teachers affected our life and decisions deeply ,even in good or bad way ,so it’s our choice how the students remember us in their future life.
The third key : is to learn our students that; before you ask for your rights ,do your duties in the best way you can, so in this way they can take high grades and learn more than they think, also the learning is continuous process, it’s not about
Just take a certificate as unfortunately we have that here, they must have ambition to be successful in their life and for that; they need to be qualified and creative.
So it’s our duty as educators and teachers to support and help them to choose the right option in their study process and life.
