Teaching

I am Shahla Mohammed Saeed Rasul. I graduated from medical college /university of Baghdad at 1994. In the beginning, I started working as senior house officer at Al-yarmuk hospital. Then, at 1996 I was accepted in fellow ship of Iraqi medical specialization (radiology branch.) I completed my fellow ship at 2001 , and I was in enrolled in the radiology department of Ibn-Bitar cardiac surgery hospital in Baghdad. In December, 2005 I moved to sulaimania , and I was  employed in Shoresh general hospital. In addition, I also worked in teaching hospital  ( MRI ) , X-ray center ( MRI ) , Kurdistan center for gastrohepatology ( US & US guided intervention ) , and Shahed hemin hospital ( MRI ) .

At September 1, 2015 I transfered to Medical collage –University of Sulimania. Since then, I have been a lecturer at the radiology department , teaching 5th grade , post gradate students diploma , and radiology kurdistanian borad students.  In addition, I still have work days in shorsh hospital in CT & MRI departments with US guided FNAC .

In my opinion, education is a very important process especially in the medical branch. It is a continuous process. I believe that in the radiology branch medical student should be well prepared from the 5th & 6th grade of medical school. That is why I concentrate on teaching the students the basic fundamental aspects of radiology , so that they can be prepared when they graduate from medical school and join the radiology specialization.
