Welcome to my Academic profile webpage. My name is: Salahalddin Saeed Ali.

I, Professor Salahalddin Saeed Ali, took up the post of President at the University of Sulaimani since April 2012. Previously I was the Dean for Faculty of Science and Science Education at the same University from 2011-2012, I have moved to this position from the Dean for the College of Science. Since 1994 and continuously I have participated as a member and Leaded member of more than 30 different scientific and administrative committees. I have also been a member of Member of the University Council between 2003-2004, also Member of Scientific committee in Geology Department since 1994 – 2004 and College Council Member in the College of Science.

I have also joined the Pioneer research center of Bekhme dam Erbil/Iraq, as a member since 1989 – 1991, and then I have re-established this centre at University of Sulaimani College of Science and moved my membership to here and continued my contribution in my college at my University.

• MSc. In Eng.Geology/Rock Mechanic/Mousl Univ./Mousl – Iraq/1987
• PhD –In Hydrogeology- Belgrade University-Serbia-2007-

• 1991-1993 Registrar of the college of Science – Univ. of Salahaddin.
• 1994 – 2004 Assistant of the Dean of the College of Science, University of Sulaimani
• 2008 – 2010 Head of the College of Scientific Committee.
• 2010 - 2011 August –Dean of the College of Science.
• 2011 - 2012 Dean of Faculty of Science and Science Education.
