Personal Profile:
I can say that I am a motivated and hardworking individual who strives to complete any set job to the highest standard and happily accepts new challenges. I have great communication skills, I love to engage with people and I am dependable, punctual and a good team player. As an English teacher and lecturer at the Sulaymani University, I enjoy teaching the English language to my young students and also strive to educate them about personal-development, increasing self-awareness, motivate them build their strength and talents and help them enrich their social abilities through my own experiences and up to date research in these fields. I have also participated in many courses, committees, seminars, webinars and workshops in order to keep up to date in my field of expertise and share my knowledge and experiences. Having traveled a lot across Europe, lived in several countries and worked with people of different ethnicities, cultures and social background, I have gained a broad view of the Western world, different lifestyles and cultures which in some situations, I like to apply for benefiting my community. Speaking five languages fluently has been an aid in my translation jobs in Kurdistan and in Germany. Having worked with the Central Refugee Reception Authority in Germany and interviewed many refugees of different backgrounds has provided me with a better understanding of today’s migration crisis in the world and especially in Europe.
