CAREER PROFILE/SUMMARY

I am an ambitious and enthusiastic activist and researcher in the field of communication and media, specifically I am interested in conducting research in survey quantitative. My research and activities focus on the gender and women issues in developing countries. I have fourteen years of experience as a lecturer at the University of Sulaimani.  Currently, I am focusing on conducting research on the posttraumatic stress disorder PTSD, specifically Yazidi women’s in the refugee camps in Iraqi-Kurdistan

• 2015-2018 PhD. In Media Psychology- Salahaddin University-Erbil.

PRESENTATIONS/ CONFERENCE PARTICIPATIONS

·         I have participated by giving talks in many workshops (local and international) on media, gender and human rights. I will be happy to provide more details about these events whenever it is necessary.

·          I have organised three workshops for young women in the refugee camps in Iraqi-Kurdistan.

·          I have presented in five workshops and academic seminars regarding to the women issues in Kurdish community.

·         Annually I participated in university conference and academic activities especially five conference regard to the refugee issues and women in the refugee camps in Iraqi-Kurdistan.

·         I participated in Conference regard to the rebuild the community after war Istanbul Turkey.

·         2009-2011 Director of the higher education unit at the college of Humanities at the University of Sulaimani. 

·         Member in academic organization Iraqi-Kurdistan.
