• My name is Parexan Mohamed Jaff, born in Kirkuk in 1954, married and mother to two children 'Amed' and 'Rawshan'. I finished my primary school in Kirkuk, and secondary school in Hawler. I received BSc degree in physics in the College of Science University of Sulaimani 1976
• Finished my Ph.D degree in Optics and spectroscopy in the University of Babes-Bolyai, Cluj-Napoca, Romania 1984
• Worked in the University of Salahadin Hawler from 1984-1988
• Banished to University of Kufa south of Iraq, because of political issues 1988-1991
• Moved to Syria, became lecturer in Teacher Institute in Qamishle- Syra 1991-1996
• Lecturer in The University of Nasser- Libya 1997-1998
• Moved back to Kurdistan 1998
• Lecturer in the Department of Physics University of Sulaimani 1998-2000
• Became Assistant Professor in 2000
• Head of Department of Physics University of Sulaimani 2000-2005
• Dean of The College of science University of Sulaimani 2005-2010
• Assistant Professor in The Department of Physics Faculty of science and Science Education 2010-2013
• Became Professor 2013
• Professor in The Department of Physics Faculty of science and Science Education 2013-Present
