Research & Group Members

The Theoretical Physics Research Group (Division of Computational Nanoscience) at the University of Sulaimani is primarily concerned with the understanding of quantum transport in nanoscale systems.

Our approach to these problems is using techniques from quantum theory and computational tools.

Field of research:

1. Open quantum systems.

2. Transport through photon cavities.

3. Interacting mesoscopic systems in magnetic field

4. Quantum dots and wires

5. Atomistic simulations based on density functional theory

6. Computational nanoscale physics
