Outline Biography

I am a professor, and lecturer at the University of Sulaimani, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Field Crops Department. I received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Sulaimani, Iraqi Kurdistan, in 1997, the M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from the INP-ENSAT, Toulouse, France, in 2002, the PhD degree in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, IBMP, France, in 2006 and Post-doctoral fellowship in Cereal Chemistry and Molecular Biology from CRA-URM Bergamo, Milano, Italy, in 2008. In 2006, I joined the Department of Field Crops, University of Sulaimani, as a Lecturer. Since August 2010, I became an Assistant Professor. I was a member in Kurdish Cancer Research Group. I am an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani. I was a member of scientific committee in first International Conference of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in 2013. My research interests include Molecular Biology, Phytochemical analysis, Bioactivity, Genetics, Cereal Chemistry, Plant Metabolic Network, Tissue Culture and Plant Breeding. I have long experience in publishing and researching. I have published several scientific papers, Conference proceedings, patent and book in the field of Plant Molecular Biology, Phytochemical analysis and Agronomy in international journals. My Google Scholar Citation Index is 35.
