Outline Biography:

*I am Najat Ismael Sayakhan Rostam

*I was born in Kirkuk, February, 21, 1968

*I finished pre-university study in Kirkuk . I was among the top three students in almost all the stages.

*I gained BA in English Language and Literature in University of Mosul, College of Education in 1989 and was the top fifth student and after two months of my graduation, I was appointed as a secondary school teacher

*I got married in 1994 and moved from my hometown Kirkuk to live with my husband in Sulaimani and thus my job was transferred to Sulaimani where I taught English Language to all the pre-university stages.

*I gained my MA in Teaching English Literature at the University of Sulaimani, College of Basic Education in 2008 with the degree 'very good'.

* In 2008, my job as a secondary school teacher was transferred from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University of Sulaimani, College of Basic Education .

* I became head of English department for three years from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012 I was promoted to a lecturer after publishing two papers in academic journals.

In 2012 I was promoted to asst. Prof. after publishing three papers in academic journals.
